Where and when does the Festival take place?

The Festival takes place on Thursday 06 October at The Brewery, 52 Chiswell Street, London, EC1Y 4SA.

The Brewery is close to Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Barbican tube stations.

There are no on site car parking facilities, the nearest public car park can be found at The Barbican. There is also limited pay and display street parking available nearby.

What time does the event start and end?

The main Festival event timings are as follows:

    8:30am - 9:15am: Welcome refreshments & Networking

    9:15am - 4:55pm: Main content of the day

Then after Festival, we have:

    5:30pm - 8:00pm: Ritson's Big Fat Quiz of the Year

Is there anything happening in the evening after the content finishes?

From 5:30pm - 8:00pm, Mark Ritson will host 'Ritson's Big Fat Quiz of the Year', taking place in a nearby location - this fun, interactive contest is a must attend!

Is there an event app?

We don’t have an app but you been emailed access to session selector which allows you to create a personalised agenda and this is mobile responsive.


What happens if I arrive late, will I miss registration?

You can register at any point throughout the day until 4:00pm. Note that, if the session is live, you will have to wait until the next session starts to enter the room.




Do I need to pre-book my place within sessions?

Yes, you MUST pre-book, there is not enough space to manage those who haven't booked.

Session selector is now live and you should have received an email with all the information you need. Spaces within sessions are allocated on a first come first serve basis.


How do I book my session at Festival of Marketing?

Registered delegates can do this via session selector. Download the How-To Guide on booking your must-attend sessions here.


What happens if I want to attend a session which is already fully booked?

On the day we will give priority to those who have booked but once we have scanned them in you may be able to enter depending on capacity.

We would recommend that if a session is full that you select an alternative one to attend as entry is not guaranteed if a session is fully booked.


How do I attend Ritson’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year?

Our evening event is also managed via our session selector. We expect this to be extremely popular and spaces are limited so would recommend getting your space as soon as possible now session selector is live.


What happens if I can no longer attend?

As per our terms and conditions, we do not offer refunds if you are no longer able to attend. However you can transfer your ticket to someone else. If you would like to do this please get in touch with us at hello@festivalofmarketing.com and someone will be able to arrange this.


If some of the sessions I am interested in clash, will presentation slides be circulated afterwards?

If speakers have given permission to share their slides, then we will do so after the event. However, this is at the speakers' discretion, so we cannot guarantee that slides from all sessions will be available.




How do I receive my pass?

We will not be sending out passes in advance of the event. Prior to the event you will be sent a reminder of your booking. This will include a barcode to scan onsite and print out your badge on arrival.


Can I share my registration with others?

No, your pass is personal to you so if someone from your team wants to attend they will need to have purchased their own pass.




Are lunch and refreshments provided?

You will be provided with lunch at the Festival, as well as refreshments throughout the day.


I have specific dietary requirements

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes, there is a cloakroom which is free-of-charge and you will be directed to upon arrival.
