Simon is the Chief marketing & Innovation Officer for UKTV / BBC Studios UK, responsible for UKTV’s portfolio of brands, all D2C & B2B marketing activity, a full-service, in-house creative agency and new product / service innovation, including content financing.

 

UKTV is a BBC Studios company and is one of the UK’s leading multi-channel television broadcasters, with a portfolio of 8 entertainment brands including Dave, Gold, Drama & UKTV Play. BBC Studios is a commercial subsidiary of the BBC and is the UK's most-awarded production company, a major international distributor of content and a global operator of branded channels & services.

 

Simon has previously served in a variety of roles at UKTV, including Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to entering the world of TV, Simon clocked up 15 years in FMCG marketing at Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, and Kantar Consulting. He is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and The Marketing Academy, a member of the ISBA Council and a Non-Executive Director of several businesses.

 

Simon lives in Surrey with his wife, two teenage sons and the family dog. He is an NFL fan, a keen gym-goer and struggles with conflicting passions for environmental issues and all things automotive!
