Martina is currently leading the global marketing & communications activities for Essity’s portfolio of household towel brands (including the iconic UK brand Plenty and French brand Okay), tasked with un-boring a category seen by many as heavily commoditized and unengaging (watch this space).

Martina’s work at Essity so far (having led global communications for their feminine care business for 5 years) includes taboo-smashing campaigns Red.Fit, #bloodnormal, #vivalavulva and most recently #wombstories, that have gained worldwide recognition and numerous awards, including back-to-back Cannes Lions Titanium, Grand Prix Glass Lion for Change, 2 D&AD Black Pencils, Grand Prix of Excellence at Marketing Society, Grand Prix at WARC for effective use of brand purpose, and many more. 

Martina has over 20 years of agency & client-side experience, having worked with A+ list brands in a variety of industries, from FMCG to consumer electronics to IT in B2C and B2B roles. She has a passion for disruptive creative work and isn’t afraid to fight for it.
