Richard leads Barclaycard’s global creative & design studio: a 60 strong, in-house agency team that produces two thirds of all Barclaycard’s creative work.
The studio – Barclaycard Creative & Design – supports lead creative agencies with through-the-line production, as well as creating a plethora of work across film, content, direct response, brand and CRM. The team has all the usual components of a full-service creative agency, with the advantage of being on-site and fully dedicated to Barclaycard.
Richard began his Barclaycard career 11 years ago, and has developed his marketing repertoire throughout. He started the company’s first social media channels back in 2009, and has since used his experience to lead key campaigns for various brands under the Barclays umbrella. Richard has created and grown large teams to deliver award-winning work across an array of financial services products, retail partnerships and well-known brands.
Away from work, he uses his experience to aid local and smaller charities who often struggle without marketing support, helping them grow and reach wider, more receptive audiences.
