Martina Longueira is Senior Marketing Manager at Sanrio Gmbh, the European arm of the global character licensing company Sanrio, whose global headquarters are in Tokyo, Japan.
Martina leads on marketing and communications of the Hello Kitty brand, across EMEA and Oceania, ensuring that brand partnerships and content-led campaigns drive increased demand for Hello Kitty with demonstrable commercial success. In addition to looking after this iconic, evergreen character, she is part of the team charged with diversifying Sanrio’s portfolio of characters in Europe.
Before joining Sanrio, Martina’s experience focused on sport management and marketing. For four years, she was a core member of the team that delivered and communicated International Inspiration, the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics international legacy programme. After the Games, she focused solely on marketing and communications, and joined Pentland Brands to manage sports marketing and brand campaigns at the apparel and footwear brand ellesse.
