Referred to by Elle magazine as a 'millennial mastermind’ in their 'Stars On The Rise: 20 Power Players To Watch Out For In 2018’ list, Chidera Eggerue - an award-winning blogger, is a presenter for the MOBO Awards and a speaker with a growing audience of almost 100,000 across her social media accounts, and is on a mission to encourage young people to take charge of their futures. Her influence spans across various platforms and she is constantly driving conversations to do with body positivity especially through the movement she created called #SAGGYBOOBSMATTER.
Due to her extremely high social media engagement and exciting content at www.theslumflower.com, this following has quickly turned into a large community full of like-minded people who want to change the world around them. Being a woman of colour who deals with a lot of subtle friction in her industry, she’s managed to find the balance between speaking up and calling out inequality in the industry whilst maintaining a relatable, fun and infectious attitude.
