Facebook’s Steve Hatch & Mark Ritson close Festival of Marketing 2018
Facebook’s very own Steve Hatch, VP, Northern Europe, will be joining Mark Ritson, Adjunct Professor of Marketing, Melbourne Business School, on the Headline Stage. Together, the two will be marking the end of another glorious Festival of Marketing.
Since 2014, Steve has led Facebook’s regional commercial team through a fundamental evolution on the platform, namely the explosion of video consumption and the commercialisation of Instagram. Prior to joining Facebook, Steve worked in Y&R, Omnicom and WPP where he spent 15 years, with his final role as CEO of MEC. Steve is a Non-Exec Director at Reach PLC, Chair of the CBI Tech Group, and has co-authored the book ‘Rigorous Magic’ on brands and ideas, published by John Wiley & Sons.
The two will be covering a host of topics that address the current marketing landscape as well as where the future of comms could be heading; delving into topics of trust and transparency, traditional and future media channels, and the awesome power of disruptive technologies. With both speakers having extraordinary cumulated knowledge surrounding the topics at hand, it promises to be a fantastic finale.
